Den Leader needed for Den 8

Calling parents of Den 8, we are looking for anyone that may be interested becoming a Den Leader for your Den.  Denise and Mark have stepped aside since their scouts are no longer interested in continuing.  If anyone is interested please email me so we can get anyone interested registered as a Adult Leader.  I have updated information in the Eblast pertaining to upcoming events. Until a Den Leader is assigned to your Den, any scout interested in attending those events can email me at Cubmaster@HowlandPack122.com to register for those events.

Message from the New Cubmaster

Posted on Jul 16 2014 - 1:34pm

Hello Scouters and Parents,

Some of you may or may not know, but there has been a change in the Cubmaster Position within the Pack.  I thought it may be time to send a message to all of you.  First of all, I would like to thank Mike Nelson for doing his duties as Cubmaster.  Mike has had some changes in his availability with a new job and is unable to continue as our Cubmaster.  Thank you Mike, for all that you have done.  For those of you that don't know me, I was a very active member in scouting through my youth.  During my years in scouting I was able to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in 1993 and made my Vigil honor in the Order of The Arrow in the same year.  I took a long break from scouting (19 year break) and rejoined with my son as the Den Leader with Den 10.  Scouting is the one achievement in my life that I hold dear to my heart.  I am looking forward to serving as the Cubmaster and getting a chance to know all the Scouts/Leaders/ and parents throughout this tenure.
