Good evening to all,

I want to start by saying Thank you!!!  That goes out to all scouts, parents, and leaders who have assisted with our Popcorn Sales.  Although the numbers were not as good as I would have liked them to be, there is nothing that we can do about that.  The turnout at each event was great.  And can you say "WOW" to all the new scouts this year that are participating right out of the chutes!!!  This is awesome.

Weekly Update

I apologize that this did not go out this morning.  Website was down for maintenace. Here are the weekly updates for you.  Important Dates are included in this update so make sure to read it all the way through.  First of all I want to take a minute and thank all of those that attended the Popcorn Sale at the mall on Sunday.  We were met with a couple of challenges while we were there.  Although we knew that the boys would not be allowed to ask patrons to purchase popcorn or walk through the mall getting the interest from patrons; we did not know that we were not allowed to talk to those walking by.  I want to thank the Den Leaders for their prompt action and moving the event to another location immediately.  It is my belief that they reacted appropriately as to allow the scouts an oppurtunity to interact with the public and learn the values in which we teach.  Being resepectful, courteous, and friendly are important values for our scouts to learn.  With that being said; the event scheduled at the mall for next Saturday has been canceled and we will be moving the event to Lowe's.  We will be at Lowe's on Saturday Oct. 17th from 10am-2pm.

Oct. 11th

Posted on Oct 6 2015 - 9:43pm

Quick reminder that this Sunday is our first weekend selling popcorn.  Everyone who is attending the event and signed up should be a the mall at their specific times.  The event starts at 11am and will end between 5-6pm.  Den 19 leader Tim Cavnah and Brian Burkey will be heading up this event.  Reminder to all boys to make sure that they are on their best behavior.  All scouts should be in uniform for this event. If you have not received your uniform, you can still participate.  I would ask that you dress decent and avoid shorts and tshirts.  If you have any questions, you can call me at 330-402-4605.
